Hardening Propulsion Architectures through High-Duty Cycle Off-Road Deployment.

Hypercraft served as the Lead Systems Integrator for the first-ever EV-spec racing series at King of the Hammers—widely recognized as the single most grueling one-day off-road race on the planet. This program functioned as an accelerated stress-test for our C335St propulsion architecture, subjecting the system to a condensed lifecycle of the world’s most extreme vertical climbs, high-velocity desert runs, and peak thermal loads. By deploying our powertrain across 11 diverse chassis platforms in these non-permissive conditions, we validated a standardized, ‘plug-and-play’ integration path for high-mobility tactical assets requiring absolute field reliability.

Why it matters:

  • Ingress Protection & Structural Durability (IP 6K9K): The C335St architecture is engineered to maintain peak operational integrity under the most aggressive environmental stressors. The system features a fully sealed, hardened enclosure designed to withstand high-pressure cleaning cycles and high-velocity particulate impact. This ensures long-term reliability and mission readiness for assets deployed in austere theaters where dust, grit, and extreme mechanical vibration are constant variables.

  • Instant Torque for Vertical Maneuver: With 950 Nm of peak torque available at 0 RPM, our architecture enables heavy-payload vehicles to scale 60-degree inclines and navigate technical rock features that stall traditional internal combustion drivetrains.

  • Modular “Spec” Integration: The KOH program proved that Hypercraft systems can be seamlessly integrated into a variety of custom and COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) chassis, significantly reducing the engineering lead time for new vehicle programs.

  • Acoustic Stealth at High-Output: Even under peak racing loads, the electromagnetic signature remains minimal, providing a decisive “Silent Maneuver” advantage in contested environments.
