Hypercraft Unveils Four Groundbreaking Solutions for EV and Hybrid Manufacturing at SEMA Show 2024

Provo, Utah – November 5, 2024 – Hypercraft, a pioneer in software-defined electric and hybrid vehicle powertrain technology, is set to showcase four groundbreaking products at SEMA Show in Las Vegas from November 5–8. The new lineup — HyperLynk™, PowerBlok™, PowerBlade™, and ThermalBox™ — tackles some of the most complex challenges in electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing by offering compact, well-designed solutions that simplify component compatibility, high-voltage power distribution, fast charging, and thermal management.

“At Hypercraft, we’ve been working hard for the last 3 years to solve the critical integration problems that have plagued EV powertrain integration up until now. With this new product lineup, we’re making it easier for EV manufacturers to build better, faster, and more efficient vehicles,” said Jake Hawksworth, CEO of Hypercraft.

HyperLynk™: An Intelligent Communication Solution for Seamless Component Integration

HyperLynk is an intelligent communication system that solves “The Integrator’s Dilemma” by allowing disperate EV components to interact smoothly, regardless of their communication languages, coding methods, or unique protocols. Leveraging a continually expanding database of device languages and components, HyperLynk serves as a unifying technology that simplifies the integration process. HyperLynk systems are available now as a standalone solution for OEMs and third-party applications.

PowerBlok™: A Modular, High-Voltage Power Distribution Solution

PowerBlok simplifies high-voltage power distribution for EVs and hybrids with a modular, all-in-one system that consolidates multiple safety and sensing features. This compact power distribution unit supports multiple motors, up to four high-voltage accessories, and includes high-voltage interlock, over-current and over-voltage protection, isolation monitoring, and real-time temperature sensing. PowerBlok will be available in Q2 2025 in Carbon Black, Titanium Gray, and Hyperium Silver finishes.

PowerBlade™: The First Standalone DC Fast Charging Solution

PowerBlade makes EV charging more accessible by offering a compact, standalone DC fast charging unit that combines Level 2 and DC Fast Charging (DCFC) in one easy-to-install package. Compatible with CCS Type 1, SAE J1772, and Tesla chargers, PowerBlade integrates a built-in CCS controller and charge junction box for optimized performance. PowerBlade is enhanced with Hypercraft’s new HyperLynk™ technology to simplify system integration and will be available at the end of Q1 2025 in Carbon Black, Titanium Gray, and Hyperium Silver finishes.

ThermalBox™: Integrated Battery and Cabin Thermal Management

ThermalBox is the first all-in-one solution for managing both battery and cabin temperatures, eliminating the need for separate thermal setups. Its compact design features two independent thermal loops, pre-configured wiring, and industry-standard connectors for simplified installation. Built to work with OEM and aftermarket systems, including Vintage Air, ThermalBox provides efficient, centralized temperature control with safety features like automatic shutdown, leak detection, and failsafe modes. It will be available in Q1 2025 in Carbon Black, Titanium Gray, and Hyperium Silver finishes.
