Hypercraft Appoints Retired Special Forces Brigadier General Paul S. Peters to Advisory Board

Provo, Utah — May 21, 2026 — Hypercraft today announced that Brigadier General (Ret.) Paul S. Peters has joined its Advisory Board.

General Peters will advise Hypercraft on capability development and operational requirements for its Razorback platform, future platforms, and sub-systems. His advisory role will focus on aligning system development with defense acquisition pathways and operational use cases in contested and austere environments.

“Hypercraft is focused on solving practical battlefield challenges by integrating cutting-edge technologies into rugged ground systems,” said Brian Bowers, CEO of Hypercraft. “General Peters brings extensive experience that will help inform how we translate technology into fielded capability.”

Background

General Peters served more than 32 years in the U.S. Army, including 27 years in Special Operations Forces. His assignments included Deputy Commanding General of 1st Special Forces Command, Director of the Military Advisory Group–Iraq, and Commander of the 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne).

In these roles, he was responsible for force readiness, sustainment, equipping, and operational integration across large formations, including oversight of multi-hundred-million-dollar programs and multinational advisory missions.

His experience includes capability development, resource planning, and operational deployment in complex environments relevant to the fielding of autonomous ground systems.

“Autonomous systems are increasingly important to how ground forces operate in distributed environments,” said General Peters. “I look forward to supporting Hypercraft as it develops systems intended for real-world operational deployment and integration into defense acquisition frameworks.”

General Peters holds an MBA from Westminster College and a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. His decorations include the Distinguished Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, and the Bronze Star.
